While we’re waiting for the flowers to get going here locally let’s take a trip to Colorado and head towards the South Park area where our first stop will be the old railroad town of Como. My grandparents once lived here when my grandfather worked as a blacksmith in the railroad round house…If you look closely at the railroad cross buck you can still see the words RAILROAD CROSSING/LOOK OUT FOR THE CARS. The reason this sign has lasted so long is that the post is made from concrete.
