Actually we are on the old railroad bed of The Florence and Cripple Creek (narrow gauge) Railroad that runs up Phantom Canyon just west of Pikes Peak, Colorado. The railroad was started in 1893 and abandoned in the early 1900’s. This is one of several tunnels we will pass through.
